Many Business Professionals are successfully juggling demands from everyone else, but fail to live the life they really want.

Stuck in a job they don’t like – because the economy is bad – “I can’t look for a new job now, it’s too risky.”  Settling for what is comfortable and stable – is anything stable in the work world today?  The only stability is your own ability to define what you want, make a plan to move toward it and achieve wins towards your objective.  Wanting focus, clarity, and a way forward that works.  But how many of us really have that plan worked out?  And have a Business Coach helping us every step of the way?

Imagine you had the ability to reshape, reinvent or change any area of your life you wanted to.  You are more imaginative, influential and action-oriented than you ever thought possible.  You feel hopeful about the future.  You have that feeling of excitement in the pit of your stomach again about your own potential.  You are in control of your future. What once seemed impossible is now visible on your horizon:

  • Starting a business
  • Taking your business or career to the next level
  • Landing your dream job (yes, it does exist and it is waiting for you)
  • Getting a promotion
  • Making a career change
  • Having more balance between career and personal
  • Increasing sales
  • Leading a team that really clicks
  • Living your values
  • Maybe even making life changes like getting healthy and losing weight
  • Reconnecting with important people in your life.

So why are you stuck in a state of overwhelm?  What happened to the hopes and dreams you had for your life?

Did you ever really figure that out?  Or did the demands of a corporate career obliterate your view?  What about your health and relationships?  Well, we have to be practical, you’re saying.  Things are really ok as they are.  Maybe I’ll just wait and see if things change.  Well, it’s certain that things will change, but in the direction of someone else’s goals.  Not yours, unless you make it happen.

You need to take a step back.  Determine what is most important. Not the “should’s”, but the “I really want to’s”.  You may even need to say “no” to some obligations that are holding you back from freeing up your energy and time to move forward.  It’s ok. There is no guilt in re-balancing your life.  Once you do that, you can see more clearly your plans, hopes, dreams and ambitions.  Then you can create the conditions necessary for your own growth, happiness and success.  Then you take action steps to make this happen.

But, you may have tried this and failed several times.  The reason many people fail is because of a few factors:

  • Lack of accountability – You want to break the cycle of getting started but not finishing
  • Is this really what I want? – You want a clear vision and mission, but the commitment required can hold you back
  • Not sure of what to do – You have several ideas and would like an objective partner to help you untangle the knot and make consistent, daily progress toward your goals.

Client Testimonial

I was new to Des Moines and didn’t know the local job market, as I had been commuting to Washington DC as the Executive Director of a national trade association.  I needed expert guidance to find out about the job market and plan an executive-level transition. Working with Deb helped me to navigate the market for my skill sets and to identify my niche.

Deb gave me a roadmap for how to find potential jobs and markets for my interests.  She help me mine my skill sets to identify my real strengths and interests – things I really wanted to do, rather than what I could do.

I hadn’t written an executive-level resume before.  Deb helped me to strategize and organize my key competencies and position them to attract results.   She turned my resume into my executive-level branding instrument.

Deb have a really good way of listening, reflecting and feeding back what I said in a logical, concise and “aha moment” way.  I could talk for 10 minutes and she would come back with recommendations that really gelled for me what I needed to do.  She is easy to work with, encouraging, supportive, and built my self confidence.

I don’t think I would have ever found my current job without Deb’s challenge to me to get out there and network.  She pushed me out of my comfort zone and now networking is something I look forward to, rather than put off.

Deb’s services were worth every dollar I spent.
