WHO I HELP

Organizations

  1. What are the demographics of the people you work with?

I work with mid- to senior-level managers, leadership teams, project teams and key individual contributors in corporations, small businesses and non-profits.

  2. What are the psycho-graphics of the people you work with?

Organizations who hire me want a measurable return on investment in developing their employees. They want to see behavioral changes occur within a 3 to 6 month timeframe. They want to see observable results in productivity, delegation, influencing, strategic focus, communication, confidence and effectiveness.

  3. What are the typical situations or challenges they are having?
    • Your key employees are leaving... going to competitors. You wonder if your managers are the reason. Do they have the coaching and communication skills that high-potential employees demand? Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y – how to give feedback, coach and guide individuals with distinct communication styles and work values.
    • Your teams constantly run into roadblocks – they are meeting deadlines, but there is too much friction, conflict and drama along the way. It seems everyone protects their own interests, their own turf. You would like teams to learn strategies for communicating across functional boundaries so that cooperation and results are improved.
    • Your leaders focus too much on tasks and not on strategy for moving the organization ahead. Leaders who are overwhelmed and busy often don't take the time to focus on what's important – to the organization and themselves. They are often highly productive, driven, astute executives who need to enhance their behaviors in establishing vision, followership, work/life balance, delegation and strategic actions.
  4. What qualities do you want in your ideal client?
    • Want to change. You are ready to do what it takes to create your future. You are ready to take big leaps and make small shifts. You can't wait to get started.
    • Are curious about uncovering your possibilities. You see potential in yourself and everyone around you. You are willing to explore and expand your thinking.
    • Make decisions easily. You are action-oriented and have a sense of urgency. You believe that there isn't just one right solution. You are willing to create an opportunity and run with it.
    • Value your coach as a partner in your progress. You're ready to invest in getting feedback, having a sounding board, someone who will ask the best from you.
